Strong Hearts. Strong Homes.
Love God. Love People.
The Bible often uses the image of the heart to describe the inner life of mankind. At Mountain Gap Church we want to see your heart made new by the One who is able to do so (Ezekiel 36:25-27).
A renewed heart makes it possible to enjoy healthy, and even renewed, relationships. We need one another & the Bible helps us see that the family is not just biological, but spiritual as well.
Jesus said in Matthew 22:37 – “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’”
Our first love & pursuit is God…
Jesus also said this two verses later, (Matthew 22:39) – “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ In other words, from a life that revolves around love, we have the privilege of sharing Christ’s love with others.
Tell me about the logo? Simply put, the logo represents three things: the green leaf represents the tree of life; the Cross in the middle of the leaf represents the fact that the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ is central to our life; the grey “edge” on the right side represents motion – that is, our life is one of growth in Christ (internal motion – growth in Christ; discipleship) as well as reaching out to the nations (external motion – evangelism).
