No matter who you are, or where you’ve been, we want you to know you’re welcome at Mountain Gap Church and it’s a great place for you to call home.

Visiting a new church can be intimidating – we understand! We were a first time guest here as well at some point. So, we’ve tried to answer some of your questions below. If, for some reason, you don’t find the answer to your question, feel free to send a message & we’ll get back with you ASAP.

WHEN ARE YOUR SERVICES?

We meet for worship & teaching service on Sunday morning at 10:30am. We also offer a Sunday School class at 9:30 – you can find more information here.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you’re wearing. It’s not uncommon to see people wearing casual clothes such as jeans or khakis. Others prefer to put on their “Sunday best” – that’s fine too! We think you’ll fit in no matter how you dress.

WHAT’S AVAILABLE FOR MY KIDS?

First, we want you to know that we take children’s ministry & children’s safety very seriously! We offer Kids Church & Pre-K Kids Church on the 1st-3rd Sundays of the month. On the last Sunday we like to have the entire family together. Our Pastor tends to make the sermon shorter, and also tries to include them children in the message. We think this family focus once a month is important!

DO YOU OFFER A SUNDAY NIGHT SERVICE?

We offer a Sunday night service once a month on the first Sunday. We call this a Night of Worship. The focus of this evening is corporate worship, prayer, a short teaching & receiving communion. We begin at 6pm and are usually wrapped up by 7pm.

From time to time, throughout the year, we’ll also use Sunday evening for a special classes such as our Engage class for people interested in making Mountain Gap Church their home. And, on occasion, we will use Sunday evening for special events, meals or outreach efforts into our community.
